Janus shut up?

Rev.: Janus' temple, doors closed. Insc.: PACE P R VBIQ PARTA IANVM CLVSIT.

As the god of gates (januae) two-faced Janus was both "closer" and "opener," Clusius and Patulcius; the doors of his temple were opened in war, shut in peace, whence the legend on this coin of Nero's.
